 | This is by far my favorite Silver Jews album and probably my favorite all-time album of any music artist/band. I love all of the Silver Jews albums but The Natural Bridge is absolutely perfect in every way. Lyrics and melodies are outstanding. I will never understand why Berman didn't get mainstream acclaim or at least as much Indie acclaim as Pavement got. I like Pavement a lot too but they are not on Berman's level. RIP David. One of my biggest regrets is that I didn't see Silver Jews at Ottobar in Baltimore in March of 2006. I didn't know about David Berman or his band back than but I used to frequent the Ottobar in Baltimore at that time to listen to indie bands that I've never heard of before.
