| After No Way Home Dafoe is going to be number one but even in this list he's way too low and Alfred Molina who gives by far the most overrated performance in all Spiderman films. Outside of four scenes: the dinner scene, give me the blue light Rosie, the scene with James Franco and the final scene everything in between is way too theatrical and I still can't stand when he first wakes up in the hospital and screams no like Darth Vader. That was it for me and I couldn't unsee it after that. If he didn't look the part his entire performance would be overlooked. Thomas Haden Church with a much worse script in a much worse movie gave a way more compelling performance and way more sympathetic as well. There was a natural feel to Haden Churches that didn't feel theatrical or over the top like Molina did. The difference with Willem Dafoes performance is his character is supposed to be like that and even them Dafoe is chilling, entertaining, magnifying and steals every scene he's in and you never once question how evil and dangerous he is and Dafoe never overdoes it to the point it gets cartoonish and silly. Michael Keaton though is number one. I have yet to see anything better than Keatons performance. That moment when he's driving Peter and his daughter to the dance is better than any of these performances combined. I still get chills thinking bout it and I can still picture his face and expression during the whole scene and what he says word for word. My ranking: 1. Michael Keaton: Vulture 2. Topher Grace: Venom No one should be below this performance even a smaller performance like Pauls should be ahead.  | Hopefully the MCU still has plans for Scorpion. I went nuts when I saw Mac Gargan in "Homecoming" and would be VERY disappointed if he doesn't return as Scorpion. That character could probably work in the Venom-Verse as well.  | Sandman was actually a really good villain in my opinion. His transformation scene, his motives, the visual effects during his fight scenes, he was one of my favorites. If only Spider-Man 3 would have been split into two parts, with Peter getting the symbiote at the end of 3 as a cliffhanger, it could have worked out. I think they should have made Sandman the main villain in three, and then have Harry and Venom in the sequel.  | i still think things would have been perfect if venom just survived. spidey and goblin manage take him down, but harry dies leaving a huge cap in peters life. especially since sandman sees his mistake and just decides to not exist anymore. so peter is alone when eddie is swearing to get even. then eddie is taken to jail with symbiote separated from him. there he just lifts weights and chants his growing obsession over peter. he could have returned in sm4 or vulture, mysterio or whoever could have had their time in sm4 before the real venom strikes anyway i think doc ock and sandman are the true knocks out of park. plenty of other good ones. but the garfield ones are just thoroughly weak.
