 | There was so much to love in this. The workwear outfit whilst simple was so on point. I think the contrast in the blazer lapel really added extra dimension to the look. I loved the blue denim shirt layered over the camel blouse with black jeans. I would never have expected that combination to work but it really does! Ofc The Kooples blazer was the star of the show and made me smile. Since my first pay cheque I've treated myself to a piece of The Kooples every sale season so have amassed quite a little collection. Nothing says rock and roll chic quite like it. I found fabulous boots in Italy last month that I know I’ll wear ‘til they drop off my feet!! May I ask what your ‘statement lip’ is please? I’ve been looking for a red for winter and it’s difficult trawling the internet (though Caroline Barnes has just released her Red Lipstick Video which is excellent) I have similar skin tone as you but slightly darker hair with tones of caramel, honey and gold highlights to hide the grey. What grey??!!! I applaud Anna Wintour’s ethos of buying one or two good pieces, rather than ‘extreme shopping’ as I bring out items I’ve had for 30+ years to mix and match, and they still look good.
