 | I have never hunted mountain lion. But I’ve had them hunt me. I live with them on the farm. I do not believe in using dogs to hunt them.  | I wouldn't bow hunt something with my dogs hunting. Too much of a chance of a dog getting injured/killed. Make up your mind if u wana bow hunt do it how it was meant to be done solo. And if you hunt with dogs use RIFLE and one powerful enough to put the prey down n not f#ck around. Alot of hunters get their dogs killed over their ignorance of the situation at hand. And for anyone who sais im wrong, had a buddy loose one of his best hounds on mountain lion with an arrow in him because of the cat grabbing hold of the dog and in the scramble got stuck in the neck with the end of that arrow so it can and does and has happened.  | As an European I don't see the purpose of hunting mt. lions. I have several friends/relatives who hunt(Cause I live in a more wooded area of Germany) , but they hunt cause there are no natural predators (except for some wolfes) and somebody needs to balance the deer/boar population. So why do you hunt the natural predators? Will they overpopulate if you don't hunt them? I guess they won't cause nature balances itself, if the ecosystem is working.  | For those of you ok with this, saying that this is very well needed in order to balance it out. Humans hunt deers as well so we’re also causing a negative impact on deer numbers. Should we go hunting people too? I mean humans impact the physical environment in many ways: overpopulation, pollution, burning fossil fuels, and deforestation. Changes like these have triggered climate change, soil erosion, poor air quality, and undrinkable water. So in other words Human activity often changes or destroys the habitats that plants and animals need to survive. Don’t forget that we also contributed to the extinction of several animals. Why people have the need to want to control everything and think that they have the right to? Leave the animal be an animal and nature will take care of everything. Nature knows very well how to take care of itself. So keep your hands off and let it be!!! No wonder we have so much natural disasters happening and we pay the price. Wow.
