 | It is curious to see Jakub oscillating the hands and the body, that is fantastic, and this is a good method that all musician should experiment, it gives you more control on the time and expression features of the music. But also is dangerous, if you realize the harpsichord player and director is struggling to keep the justo character and the tempo of the orchestra. Have a look near to finish he makes an aggressive reaction with his body to bring the orchestra to the justo character and time, because the orchestra is deflating. The character and dynamics are falling down, because the movements of the hands of Jakub are too soft. Valid to him rather than doing nothing, yes, it helps him more than doing nothing but not valid to transmit to others. So when the movement you transmit does not match with the movement that correspond to the music it becomes dangerous, as we observe in this video, the oscillatory movement of Jakub creates an opposite effect and that kills the orchestra, kills the music, and make crazy the director... it cannot be 2 directors in a orchestra sorry! Probably nobody has realized about. You are so professional and fantastic players. So I would add, lets have a training on the oscillatory movement, which is so basic and so fundamental for musicians, it does not take too long... They probably are thinking, "well... we were struggling, maybe bad day, maybe people is sleepy today, maybe in the last bars someone lost the tempo and forced a chain reaction... bad luck, live performance common issues, we understand... eh guys!!! next time be more attentive please, wake up, do not sleep..." and the person causing that is the Jakub without realizing about it ;) Not a big deal, just take it in care.
