@gjack2008
Will always be one of the best channels. He is a veteran of YouTube but has kept his roots. Builds things for his shop so he can build things he uses daily. I still rewatch so many of the older videos. Never disappointed in the new videos no matter what the topic.

@kennyderanleau9870
"Drawers are where things go to die" (or unfound, etc.) vs. "Lots of drawers, well organized and properly organized and labeled". I vote for the latter, personally, but whatever works for you is fine.

@J_Madison
Is it just me or is woodworking primarily about building shop furniture over and over with the occasional side project thrown in?
Комментарий от : @J_Madison

@neoanderson6128
Maybe tear down the wall between small/big shop so you have a window so you don't go insane !! Haha just banter but for real humans need daylight 🥺

@covariance5446
Watching this video has me convinced that Matthias is the coolest person in the world at the moment! I hope I can do 1/4 of the things he's achieved one day.

>...some drawers I made maybe 30 years ago...

How old are you? I've been watching you for like 10 years and I swear to god you haven't aged.

@carterscustomrods
STOP CLUTTER SHAMING!!! Lol
Cluttery is it's own art form. I am a bit OCD in that I like to have a cluttered style of organization. Others would go insane trying to work in my space, but I love it.

One of the main things that brought me to your videos so many years ago, was your cosy and personal workshop. Glad to see you’re putting a personal touch on your new workshop too 💯

Very interesting. I'm thinking that time lapse monitoring is what I need to let me see where I just put something down (like my glasses) and now can't find!

@MalteGoAdventure
Maybe a Help for your heating problem:
In our shop we use a heating West (Heizweste) which you can Power with a Powerbank. You can buy them on Amazon for ~30€ here in Germany.

Комментарий от : @MalteGoAdventure

@lordrichard8184
You should build a “wall” with a giant door to separate the workshop from the storage area. This way you don’t get dust and junk all over your stuff
Also what about adding an auxiliary blower fan to the little heater. This way you can tilt it forward or hang it from a ceiling. Even just a plain old box fan pointed right at the heater should keep it from over heating.

Комментарий от : @lordrichard8184

@frankasauruswrex
Is the word "sockets" a Canadian term? In Oregon USA we call them "outlets". Not saying one is right or wrong, just curious. Kind of like the whole coke/cola/soda/pop thing.

93 + 15 = 108m²
But, due to the universal law of workshops, it will be fill within months if it isn't already.
Universal law of workshops: the space used expands to the space available and then exceeds it. It just does.

@TheSkiggly
In my opinion, this world is a better place because of you. With your inspirational, applied realism, practicality and abundant unintended humor, everything you produce ends up exceptional. There are few YouTube channels that can even come close to what you have done. It feels like I'm watching Russell Crowe in the movie "A Brilliant Mind" because your thought process is absolutely fascinating.

Thank you for just being you and sharing with us.

I wouldn’t have been brave enough to screw into the post holding my house up. I would have used zip ties or giant hose clamps to attach. Looks great.

@isaackellogg3493
Since you approach woodworking from an engineering perspective, I think you would enjoy perusing the Global Village Construction Set, at opensourceecology.org. It's an attempt to build a vertically-integrated, mutually-constructible tool set, all at greater reliability and lower cost than commercially-available analogues.

I don't understand why this guy hasn't been picked up for a TV show. He is quirky, funny, likable and comes up with a wide variety of ideas that interest people from all walks of building, crafting and technology. If I was a millionaire I would fund him in a heartbeat seeing how well shows like Mythbusters did and seeing he taps in that demographic and many others.

@albertgouws13
I’m looking forward to the video about the software. Something I thought of that could be cool is if you tracked which machine you used what percentage of the time. You could possibly do that with zones in the camera frames. You can then get a breakdown after a project which shows 30% bandsaw, 50% table saw, 20% drill press.
